- Healthy Communities
Explores evidence-based community design strategies for creating neighborhoods and outdoor spaces that promote public health and encourage healthy lifestyles for all ages.
- The Power of Policy
Presents creative ways housing and health policy reform at the state, local and federal level can make our communities and homes safe and healthy.
- House Calls
Examines the role health and housing professionals can play in delivering primary prevention and promoting public health by addressing the connections between the homes we live in and the negative health outcomes they cause, such as asthma, lead poisoning and unintentional injury.
- Healthy by Design
Looks at how housing design and construction methods and practices, including universal design, can promote health and safety of all ages, while maintaining affordability without compromising on function and form.
- Healthy Green
Expands the focus of the green building and design movement toward stronger consideration of the impacts of green design on resident health and how to move beyond green to healthy green.
- Sounding the Call
Examines the many marketing, outreach and education strategies and opportunities available to make communities and homes healthier.
- Just the Facts
Explores the latest research establishing the links between housing and health, and provides the basis for effective methods to be employed to make housing and communities healthier.
- Affordably Healthy
Presents emerging trends and examples that promote affordable housing and communities that are healthy, safe, and sustainable, including strategies to assist families in purchasing, renting and rehabilitating safe and affordable housing.
